Summary
Moving vehicles onsite around Company warehouses and yards on Mallaig Pier:Hitching/unhitching trailers, securing loads;Reversing vehicles within a compact yard space;Carrying out vehicle and trailer checks, reporting any issues;Supporting loading activities & general yard duties (forklift training provided)
Ferguson Transport & Shipping is currently recruiting for a full time, permanent Night Shunter Driver based in Mallaig. Full training can be provided for the right candidate.
In addition to £15.74 per hour you will receive:
- Shift allowance of £8.32 per shift.
- Min. 40 hour week + overtime opportunities.
- Training & support. Full training will be provided, including fork lift truck and Terberg Tug Works Vehicle Operation. Experienced candidates
- As a Shunter Driver you will drive works vehicles with a variety of attachments; ensure safe and secure loading and unloading and move trailers around.
- You will need to have:
A valid UK car driving licence - a positive attitude to work and be prepared to work according to company policies and procedures.
