Job Title: Grounds Operative
Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 per annum
Location: Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, Marlow SL7 1RR
Working Hours: 39 hours, Monday
- Friday 8am
- 4pm (flexible) Weekend work as and when the business needs (must be able to commit)

- and right now we are looking to recruit for a Grounds Operative to join our team.
It’s a very exciting time to join the team here at Bisham Abbey. Each day is refreshingly different, with the grounds being occupied by England Rugby, England Hockey, Fab Academy and many more exciting faces. Not to mention heading into the Olympics we can proudly say our grounds play a big part in our NGBs training, it’s a huge achievement for us to be supporting with this and who knows what other exciting projects we have in the pipeline!
You will take responsibility to carry out a range of landscape tasks including grass-cutting, shrub-pruning, hedge-cutting, planting, weed control, litter picking, sports maintenance tasks, drive a vehicle and use a range of equipment to make sure our world class sporting venue remains a beautiful, safe and clean place for our staff and customers
You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities and free membership plus other various discounts.
What you'll need to do the role
To be considered for this role you will have similar experience and hold a full driving licence as you will be using a ride on mower and will need to be able to Tow.
You will have experience using pedestrian rotary mowers, strimmer’s, hand blowers, mechanical hedge cutters and a range of hand tools
It is desirable that you hold a NPTC PA1 & PA6, however training can be provided for the right candidate.
