P2 Class Teacher (Temporary)

Maternity Vacancy

Monday 5th January – Friday 26th June 2026

Balfron Primary School would like to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic teacher who will lead P2 learners during the period of a maternity leave.

Our P2 class currently has 22 pupils, all of whom have had a nurturing and enjoyable learning experience so far this year – it is important that this continues following the appointment of our new teacher.

Balfron Primary School has seven classes and is situated within a 3-18 campus which comprises of our nursery, primary school and Balfron High

The post is due to begin on 5th January 2026, however, the ability to take up the post earlier would be explored with the successful candidate, if required by our school.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
