PURPOSE OF POST:
This is an exciting opportunity for an immediate start. We require an inspirational, dedicated and ambitious Teaching Assistant Level 3
At The River Centre 3 – 16 Learning Community, we are seeking a highly skilled individual who:
• can support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom
• is passionate about making a difference to the lives of the children at TRC
• has the vision, imagination and commitment to add to the strength of the school, to meet the highest standards and be a role model for our learners
• demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement and the raising of achievement
• develops highly effective strategies to engage learners to improve their performance further
• embraces the school’s values of building a resilient, inclusive, valued, empathetic, respectful learning community
• is sympathetic and supportive of vulnerable learners
• shows passion for their continued professional development to be a lifelong learner and role model
• SAFEGUARDING:
Safeguarding and Child and Adult Protection are key priorities for the School and Council. We aim to support children and adults at risk to be as safe as they can and to fulfil their potential. You are responsible for playing your part in the well-being, safety and protection of children and adults at risk. You will have a responsibility to participate in training to the appropriate level of safeguarding and have a duty to fulfil your personal responsibilities for safeguarding.
