Summary
Healthcare Assistant with responsibility for manual handling and physiotherapy
Contract: Permanent – JG5
Term time onlyWe are looking for someone who has the appropriate personal characteristics, experience, knowledge and skills to provide 1:1 support for learners with restricted physical mobility and who can oversee the delivery of our physio programme across the school. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Health Care Lead and SENCo to develop and deliver physio programmes to individual and groups of learners. Duties will include: ● Providing learner-centred support at all times
● Assist learners, where required, with transitioning between aids and toileting, whilst encouraging independence
● Supporting and advising staff who carry out manual handling tasks
● Delivering physiotherapy sessions
● Liaising with parents, carers and external professionals
● Keeping accurate and timely recordsHours Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 8.30 am – 3.10 pm
Tuesday: 8.30am - 4.10pm
