Term time onlyWesthaven School is seeking a passionate, resilient and empathetic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dedicated team supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs alongside other barriers to learning. This is your opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of some of our most vulnerable young people. We believe that all behaviour is communication and we strive to understand the reasons behind episodes of dysregulation. Our behaviour ethos is based on a trauma-informed approach and is underpinned by the expectations of the Westhaven Way. As an LSA, you'll be working directly with our learners to provide support, encouragement and guidance. You'll be part of a team working alongside the lead teacher to create a nurturing, therapeutic, and personalised environment, supporting learners from both our primary and secondary phase.
