Summary

Student Finance Advisor

As a Student Finance Adviser, you'll play a key role in providing impartial, accurate, and timely information, advice and guidance (IAG) on financial support services. You'll manage funding applications, assess eligibility, and ensure compliance with funding regulations and data protection requirements.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines administrative precision with student-facing support, helping learners access the resources they need to succeed.

Along with contributing to a high-quality information, advice and guidance service for students, staff ad stakeholders, you will also act as the Data Protection lead within the service and contribute to continuous improvement within Student Services to enhance the overall student experience.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Level 3 qualification (A-Level, BTEC National Diploma or equivalent),
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and data systems.
  • Experience providing financial advice or IAG in a customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A flexible, student-centred approach and commitment to safeguarding.

Interviews will be held week commencing 3 November 2025.
