Summary
Job Title: Band 6 sister, Emergency DepartmentGrade: Band 6Reports to: ED Department co-ordinatorAccountable to: Matron/Head nurseJob Purpose: Accountable within the team for ensuring that thestandard of nursing care is of a high level, quality beingof prime importance. Ensure adherence to agree Trustpolicies. Primarily to provide emergency nursing tochildren and their families attending A&E and to supportprovision of care to all client groups. Provide support tothe junior nursing team providing clinical/safeguardingsupervision.Infection prevention and control:The post holder must comply with all relevant policies,procedures and training on infection prevention andcontrolJOB ROLEA. MANAGING ACTIVITIESA1.
