An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Humanities graduate to join a thriving secondary school in Liverpool as a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant. This full-time, long-term position offers an ideal stepping stone into teaching — allowing you to build valuable skills, support pupils’ learning, and work alongside experienced educators in a dynamic environment.

Key Details – Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant:

Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm (term-time only)
Competitive weekly pay: Up to £560 as a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant
Start date: October 2025
• Support students in Key Stages 3 and 4 across Humanities subjects through engaging lessons and small group activities
• Collaborate with teachers and pastoral teams to enhance student participation, confidence, and academic progress

Candidate Requirements:

• A 2:1 or above in a Humanities-based degree (e.g. History, Geography, RE, Politics, Sociology, etc.)
• A genuine enthusiasm for education and supporting young people
• Previous experience working with children or teenagers (voluntary or paid) is beneficial but not essential
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
