The Role & Your Requirements


You will travel to customer sites across the Inverness area to perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), ensuring client safety and quality standards are met. This is a 40-hour work week on site, requiring flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work.


Essential Criteria: -Electrical PAT Tester - Inverness, Highlands


  • Driving Licence: Full UK manual Driving Licence (held for 12+ months, max 6 points).
  • Attitude: Highly enthusiastic, eager to learn, and committed to pursuing a career in the electrical industry.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work outside core hours when required.
  • Stamina: Capable of completing manual work for long periods.
  • Basics: Good communication, numeracy, and literacy skills.


Desirable (Bonus Skills):


  • Some previous electrical education or background (e.g., as an Electrician's mate, electrical graduate, or similar).
  • Prior C&G 2377 qualification (not essential as full training is given).
