Purovets is excited to be representing one of Singapore’s leading independent referral and emergency veterinary hospitals, seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Specialist to join their multi-disciplinary team.

About the Role
As an Internal Medicine Specialist, you will play a central role in diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions in small animals, collaborating with colleagues across specialties including surgery, neurology, exotic companion mammals, cardiology, and emergency & critical care.
This full-time position offers a 4-day working week (day shifts, inclusive of public holidays), giving you the balance to enjoy your life outside of work.
Key Responsibilities
Consultation & Collaboration:
• Provide expert advice to veterinarians on complex internal medicine cases.
• Work closely with ECC, surgical, and specialist teams to manage challenging cases.
• Maintain excellent communication with clients and referring veterinarians.
Advanced Diagnostics & Procedures:
• Perform and interpret endoscopy, ultrasound, CT scans, and other diagnostic tests.
• Develop precise treatment protocols for a wide range of conditions.
Patient Care:
• Manage chronic and acute diseases with tailored treatment plans.
• Oversee patient rounds, case reviews, and multi-disciplinary discussions.
Teaching & Professional Development:
• Mentor veterinarians, interns, and technicians in internal medicine.
• Contribute to continuing education and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
Out-of-Hours Support:
• Provide occasional out-of-hours input (with additional fees for in-person duties).
Desired Skills & Experience
Education: DVM (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Certification: Board-certified in Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM, ECVIM, or equivalent).
Experience: Proven track record in clinical or academic internal medicine.
