Summary

Job Title: Senior Engineer Product Configuration & Change

Location: Strathclyde, Glasgow City, Glasgow

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Marine, Manufacturing and Production

Secondary Industry: Automotive, Aerospace, Nuclear

Job Duties:

• Lead product configuration and change management activities
• Develop and implement processes for product configuration control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product changes are effectively managed
• Analyse and assess the impact of proposed product changes
• Maintain accurate records of product configurations and changes
• Provide technical support and guidance on configuration management
• Participate in product design reviews and engineering change meetings

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in product configuration and change management
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product configuration and change management

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent understanding of product lifecycle management
• Proficiency in configuration management tools and software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field
• Certification in product configuration management

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role with occasional travel to manufacturing sites
• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
• Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
