NHS Administrative Support Officer - With Note-Taking Experience

Location - Carlisle Centre - North Belfast
Rate of pay - £12.31 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional typing and circulation of correspondence, including invitations, minutes, and incident reports.
- Take clear and accurate notes during meetings, ensuring timely production of official records and discussions.
- Transcribe communications from Big Hand dictation systems.
- File letters, memos, and reports daily, maintaining organised and accessible record systems.
- Archive and retrieve records from offsite storage as required.
- Photocopy and scan client records promptly and accurately.
- Create, maintain, and update files, ensuring accurate recording on file index cards and databases.
- Organise and maintain efficient information systems, including backups, in line with Trust policy.
- Prepare and collate statistical information on families with social work involvement when requested.
- Ensure all processes comply with NHS policies and data protection regulations.

- Strong administrative skills with proven note-taking experience.
- Ability to work methodically, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Good IT literacy and familiarity with dictation transcription systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
