About the Role
As an Aircraft Technician , you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Working from engineering instructions and understanding Aircraft Drawings
- Completing tasks to the required standards
- Using power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing
- Potentially working in confined spaces (tank work), which includes restricted and physically demanding wing access and egress through oval-shaped manholes
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for this Aircraft Technician role will have:
- Completed a full UK Aerospace or Engineering Apprenticeship Indenture and hold City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2, 3, Key Skills level 2 and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognised engineering field
