Summary

2 personal assistants required to support a happy and lively 13-year-old girl living in Bude.

She has Autism and a learning disability and would like someone who she can build up a positive relationship with and provide her with some 2:1 support.

She would like someone to support her with her communication. She loves being outdoors and going to the park and shops. She enjoys sensory play including water, bubbles and baking.

Personal assistants will enable her to enjoy activities in her local community.

Up to 5 hours per week are available, and this is flexible. Mainly weekend and school holiday availability will be required.

The rate of pay is £12.60 per hour.

Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people is essential. A full driving licence is desirable.

The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
