Summary

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a Smart Energy Research Assistant to join our dynamic team at Energy House Labs. This role will primarily support the Smart Meters > Smart Homes Lab (SMSHL) projects but will also involve collaboration with other labs and external fieldwork as required. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in IoT and control systems’ hardware and software configuration, and will apply their skills to digital energy applications, building energy performance, and other related areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with data collection and analysis for research and commercial projects.
  • Contribute to the lab's research activities and participate in ongoing research projects.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual, legal, and financial processes with the support of internal services.
  • Support the SMSHL lead in managing and operating the lab's facilities 6.
  • Provide informed feedback to stakeholders and disseminate technical and business information.
