Further details about the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join TEAL as a Trust Safeguarding Lead who will work as part of TEAL’s central team, supporting school improvement work across our schools. You will strategically lead the trust’s safeguarding provision, ensuring all processes and procedures are fit for purpose and compliant with safeguarding and child protection legislation.
The role will be based at our Trust Development Centre as part of our TEAL Senior Leadership Team, as well as sitting on the Senior Leadership Teams of one of our secondary schools (where you will be based for at least one day per week).
Starting in January 2026, the role is a permanent position for up to 37 hours per week on TEAL’s Leadership pay scale (L16 £75,049 to L21 £84,699, based on a full-time equivalent). We are looking for an individual who hasprevious experience in the leadership and management of safeguarding within a school setting.
Your knowledge, skills and experience:
