This is a fantastic opportunity to take your administration career to the next level, supporting a busy HSE function in a varied and rewarding role.

We are looking for a proactive Administrator to become a key part of our client's Health, Safety and Environmental team - ensuring their site stays compliant, safe and well-managed.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Keep records, registers and safety systems up-to-date.

  • Log accidents, incidents and near misses accurately.

  • Support training: update training matrices, issue certificates, arrange courses and deliver toolbox talks.

  • Manage PPE stock, workwear distribution and contractor inductions.

  • Carry out fire alarm tests, ladder inspections, DSE assessments and support with LOLER.

  • Order supplies (first aid, PPE, spill kits) and keep stock levels maintained.

  • Help with audits, inspections and external visits (HSE/Environmental Agency).

  • Provide hands-on support to the HSE Manager and wider team.

What We're Looking For:

✅ Strong administration background with excellent IT skills (Word & Excel).
✅ High attention to detail - accuracy is everything in this role.
✅ Confident communicator, able to work with colleagues at all levels.
✅ Organised, efficient and able to juggle multiple tasks.
✅ Familiarity with Health & Safety legislation and Quality Management Systems (desirable).
✅ Some experience in training or presenting (e.g., inductions, toolbox talks) is a plus.
✅ Energetic, motivated and committed to maintaining high safety standards.
