The Role: People Partner
As a People Partner at UKIFS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our People Plan as we scale up to meet the bold goals of the STEP programme. Working closely with the Head of People, you will support matrixed teams across a complex, fast-growing organisation, driving initiatives in change management, organisational design, talent development, leadership capability, and employee engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Co-develop and execute UKIFS's annual People Plan aligned with ambitious business objectives.

  • Lead and deliver people-focused projects including EDI initiatives, leadership development, early careers programs, and wellbeing strategies.

  • Partner with managers to embed effective people management practices-performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, onboarding, and exit processes.

  • Drive organisational culture development and support change management across the business.

  • Manage employee relations proactively, coaching managers and preventing case escalations.

  • Deliver insightful people analytics and management information to guide strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workforce planning, competency mapping, and career framework development.

Who You Are

  • Experienced People Partner, HR Business Partner, or similar role-ideally in engineering, technology, or complex programme environments.

  • Passionate about working in a high-impact, mission-driven startup environment.

  • Skilled in managing change, organisational design, and driving talent management and leadership development initiatives.

  • Adept at employee relations with a proactive and coaching approach.

  • Strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and matrix teams.

  • Data-savvy with experience in people analytics and reporting.

  • Committed to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture.
