The Governing Body wish to appoint an excellent and highly committed Teaching Assistant to join our skilled team of staff. The focus will be providing to the class teacher and providing support Additional Learning Needs to ensure our pupils achieve their full potential. The Successful candidate will be: Enthusiastic about working with children and strives to motivate learners to succeed. A good communicator and team member, who is caring, flexible and approachable Previous experience of ALN and restorative practice is essential Able to work collaboratively Reliable and able to take responsibility To support individuals and groups of learners to access the curriculum and support pupils to integrate into mainstream lessons. To be able to deliver interventions To help with classroom resources and records To contribute to the management of pupils’ behaviour in the classroom as required To support the school curriculum, especially literacy and numeracy activities; To provide support for learning activities; To assist in the presentation of display materials; To support the use of ICT in learning activities To support positive behaviour strategies and physical interventions when required.
