Are you ready to take the next step in your care career?

Quarriers Finnart Street Service is offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate, values-driven individual to join our team as a Team Leader. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on leadership experience in a warm, inclusive residential care setting, while making a real difference in people's lives.

This role is ideal for someone with senior care experience who is looking to grow their skills and take on more responsibility. You'll receive strong support from an experienced management team and have access to internal development opportunities.

About the Service

Finnart Street is a small, homely residential service in Greenock, supporting six individuals with epilepsy and/or learning disabilities. We promote independence, choice, and inclusion, encouraging everyone to engage with their community and pursue activities and goals that matter to them — from college and work placements to baking, cinema trips and more.

We follow The Keys to Life framework, ensuring each individual has a strong voice in how their care is delivered, including through regular resident meetings.

The Role

Full-time – 39 hours per week across 5 days over 7

Direct support included (minimum 1 day per week)

Sleepover shifts available

Shared on-call rota (3–4 days per month)

Includes some evening and weekend work

Opportunity to lead by example, support staff development, and help shape the service

Work closely with the management team to ensure high-quality, person-centred care

This is a hands-on role with real impact – you’ll be actively involved in delivering support while guiding and motivating a small, committed team.

What We’re Looking For

Senior experience in the care sector (essential)

SVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (desirable – or willingness to work towards)

Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

A positive, values-led approach

A driver is desirable but not essential

What’s In It For You?

At Quarriers, we invest in our people. As a Team Leader, you’ll benefit from:

Opportunity to gain SVQ qualifications through our SVQ-accredited centre

Family-friendly policies and procedures

Access to HSF Health Cash Plans

24/7 confidential Employee Assistance Programme

£500 refer-a-friend scheme (T&Cs apply)
