We are recruiting for Production Team Manager roles to work for a leading food manufacturer in the Fife area. This role is in a food production environment, working with a great team.

- Ensure that each member of the team is trained to a competent standard across all jobs in the relevant production area.
- Prioritise and execute the shift running plans to ensure that all targets are met.
- Challenge, investigate and correct non-conformances e.g. quality, stock rotation, waste management.
- Ensure that each member of the team clearly understands what their role is and is provided with all the necessary training to succeed.
- Ensure that each member of the team clearly understands the product quality standards for the area.
- Ensure that each member of the team understands what is expected of them in relation to time-keeping, housekeeping standards, health & safety, PPE adherence and acceptable behaviour.
- Lead, motivate and engage with each member of the team daily.
- Communicate with team members daily regarding targets, issues and any relevant business news or updates.
- Manage and assess the work area in order to ensure that Health, Safety, Welfare and Environmental responsibilities are met.
- Ensure that area establishment numbers are maintained and work with HR to recruit new team members.
- Promote a Continuous Culture within your work area. Ensure you involve your team in the projects/change programme, supporting the site Food Safety Culture and improvement objectives.
- Highly motivated, with a positive outlook.
- lead your team by setting a good example of work ethic and behaviour
- Strong communicator with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
- Approachable and interested in each of your team members
- Consistent in approach and style, which ensures that team members know what to expect
- Have a passion and drive to develop team members.
