Summary
Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities To provide a highly specialist MSK physiotherapy service, including advanced assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes for patients referred to the Community MSK Physiotherapy Service. To utilise extended scope skills where appropriate, such as requesting diagnostic imaging, administering injections, prescribing (if qualified), and providing advanced clinical interventions to support timely and effective patient management. To contribute to enabling other staff, service users, and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by promoting a supportive and inclusive clinical environment. To provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and consultation as appropriate, functioning as a lead specialist within MSK physiotherapy. To lead and participate in service evaluation, clinical audit, and research to ensure continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice. To work as an autonomous practitioner within HCPC and CSP guidelines, adhering to local and national policies and procedures, and exercising professional responsibility in interpreting these within defined parameters. To agree outcomes with the Clinical/Professional Lead and take responsibility for delivering them effectively, ensuring that service objectives and patient needs are met.
