Summary
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Plasterer to join our team working on a dedicated damp and mould social housing contract. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality plastering works to residents homes, ensuring properties are repaired, safe, and comfortable.
This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for residents homes are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plastering works related to damp and mould treatment, including re-skimming, patch repairs, rendering, and surface preparation.
- Work alongside surveyors and other trades to complete remedial works effectively and to a high standard.
- Ensure all work is delivered safely and in line with health & safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach while working in occupied properties.
- Accurately record work completed using company systems.
About You
The ideal candidate will have strong plastering skills and experience working in residential or social housing environments. You will need to demonstrate:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plastering or equivalent trade qualification.
- Experience working on damp and mould repairs (desirable but not essential - training can be provided).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence (company van and fuel card may be provided).
