Baby Room Leader – Central London (Angel EC1V & Worship Street EC2A)
Salary: £30,000 – £31,000 per year

This award-winning nursery has developed a bespoke curriculum inspired by Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Forest School approaches, offering children the best possible start in life.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Baby Room Leader to join their fantastic team in Central London (Angel & Old Street). This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated baby room team and make a real difference in the lives of children from birth to five years.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for babies and young infants
Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all children in your care at all times
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS
Support and encourage each baby’s individual developmental journey
Lead, mentor, and supervise the baby room team to ensure the highest standards of care and education
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and external professionals
Keep accurate observations, assessments, and progress records for each child
Promote an inclusive environment, treating all children with respect, equality, and dignity
Person Specification:
Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Childcare & Education
Previous experience working with babies (0-2 years) in a nursery setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A genuine passion for early years education and the ability to inspire others
