We’re working with a fast-growing FMCG business that’s looking for a Category Executive to join their Commercial Team, supporting two key UK retail accounts – Coop and Waitrose.
This is a fantastic Category Executive opportunity to gain wide-ranging experience across category, trading, and account support, while working alongside a high-performing team in a fast-paced international environment.
You’ll collaborate with the Category & Trading Manager to deliver customer-specific insights, support commercial strategy, and help drive performance across private label and branded ranges. The role will also involve preparing for range reviews, interpreting market data, communicating with suppliers, and helping identify opportunities for growth within each retailer.
You’ll be working cross-functionally across teams, including sales, compliance, and product data – and externally with buyers and key stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone with the following experience and skills:
2-5 years in a category, commercial, or trading role for an FMCG business (food sector preferred)
Strong Excel and PowerPoint capability
Excellent communication skills – able to present data clearly and confidently
Experience working with, or understanding of, UK grocery retail
Comfortable working with data, budgets, and cross-functional teams
The Category Executive role is hybrid, with a requirement to be office-based 2-3 days a week
