Summary

Pinnacle Group are looking for passionate and proactive Social Value Coordinator to play a key role in delivering Pinnacle Service Families (PSF) social value strategy. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the role involves coordinating and supporting day-to-day social value and charity activities across operational regions. You’ll work closely with community partners to develop, implement and monitor initiatives aligned with PSF’s objectives and reporting requirements. Acting as the operational hub, you’ll manage communications, calendars and reporting and support managers with programme planning, stakeholder engagement and TOMS data/evidence.

You will be joining our Homes team based who play a crucial role as part of PSF, our largest contract managing 49,000 military family homes on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. As part of the team, you’ll sign up to our mission: To be champions of Service Families, advocating for them in everything we do.

PSF has offices nationwide. The role will be based at the PSF office closest to the successful candidate and will involve significant travel across the UK.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who, alongside the key criteria below, will sign up to our values of Trust, Respect, Involve, Challenge and Deliver Excellence and will be determined to maintain the confidence of our clients and communities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with contract managers and stakeholders to deliver an impactful social value programme by maximising the social value generated from our existing key suppliers, local service providers and contract partners. Delivery of our contractual Social Value obligations.
  • Create a network of established external social value partners who can deliver impactful social value within our communities across the UK through a new commissioning model.
  • Collect, measure and analyse social value data for reporting on targets and measures using the Themes Outcomes Measures (TOMS) social impact calculator.
  • Follow brand, data protection and safeguarding requirements; keep permission/consent records for images/stories.
  • Regularly report on social value activities, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Work with various teams to continuously improve the approach.
  • Work alongside Group Social Values team to share best practice, thought leadership and innovation.
  • Coordinate the objectives set out in the annual social value “roadmap” and align deliverables to the TOMS framework / measures.
  • Promote social and environmental best practice and support social awareness campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to enhance reporting

Key requirements:

  • Knowledge of social value legislation.
  • Data analytics skills to help capture social value metrics.
  • Good project management experience.
  • Understanding of / alignment with HM Armed Forces Community and specific cultural and social impact of military life on family life.
  • A self-starter, comfortable working both autonomously and with colleagues at all levels of the organisation to deliver value in a small, high-functioning team.
  • Good networking skills with local agencies, charities and support providers.
  • Highly skilled in coordination, communication and report writing, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Full driving licence
