Summary
Kew Green Hotels is looking for an Accounts Receivable Assitant to join the Eastern regional team based from our hotel in Leeds Wakefield.
As an AR Assistant, you are responsible for consolidating your regions debtors and ensuring they are paid within agreed company terms.
What you’ll be doing as an Accounts Receivable Assistant
- Each Monday consolidation of the regions bad debt using template provided.
- Actively contact all debtors to confirm payment within agreed terms.
- Keep the chase log actively updated with current actions
- Manage any delinquent overdue debtors to ensure payment is received.
- Highlight any risk accounts on a timely basis for further action.
- Initiate and own any external collection process.
- Highlight any accounts opened without credit status to credit manager
- Complete and submit a weekly debtors report and attend a weekly update call.
- Build a good relationship/rapport with large/regular accounts
- Emails - to be dealt with daily and cleared as necessary
- Producing of any reports that may be requested by the RA or by HO
- Post and allocate AR payments
- Overview of hotel invoice workflow
- Completion of AR month end.
What’ll make you a great fit for this role
- Demonstrable success in processing finance transactions
- Numerate
- Prior debt collection experience – preferably multi site.
- You’ll like working at pace, in an ever-changing environment where decisions are made fast
- We get that you like numbers. But you’ll also love people too – and as a result, have great interpersonal and communication skills
- Details? You love them.
- Systems wise – probably goes without saying that you have intermediate IT skills, including Excel, an understanding on PMS systems would be advantageous
