Summary
This post will cover services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire with a work base in either Hereford or Worcester.We are offering a hybrid model combining virtual and in-person working. Although there will be some travel, we are keen to ensure a good work-life balance. Professionally, you will lead a committed, thriving community of colleagues, providing leadership, supervision, consultation and advice. You will lead (where appropriate) on the recruitment of psychological staff at an exciting time when we are developing and growing our psychological professions workforce. You will also provide expert guidance to services within the wider Directorate who may not employ psychological professionals, but where psychologically-informed practice is implemented (e.g. sexual health, school health nursing etc.) Clinically you will offer highly expert clinical input within the CAMHS service, supporting good multi-disciplinary working and providing clinical CAMHS interventions as part of your job plan. As the current post-holder is retiring, it is clear you will have big boots to fill, but you will have an enthusiastic and supportive team around you who will value the uniqueness of the boots you bring with you.
