We are particularly interested in candidates who:Have senior leadership and strategic decision-making experience.Can demonstrate a strong personal commitment to education and the transformation it enables.Understand the complexity of large organisations and can operate confidently at a strategic level.As a Governor, you will work alongside talented and experienced colleagues to provide strategic leadership to a respected organisation that makes a tangible difference to thousands of lives.Board meetings take place across our colleges in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Surrey, so some travel between sites is required.What skills are we currently seeking?We regularly review the expertise on our Board to ensure it reflects the needs of our organisation and the communities we serve. At present, we are especially keen to hear from candidates with knowledge and leadership experience in the following areas:Further Education - knowledge of the FE sector, with insight into learner pathways, funding, and policy.Higher Education - strategic understanding of the higher education sector, partnerships, and pathways that support learner progression.Careers and Digital - expertise in preparing learners for the evolving world of work, and leveraging digital innovation in education.How to applyIf you share our vision and can bring the skills and qualities we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
