Summary
Christmas is a very busy time of year at Chatsworth and you could be part of it by joining us as a Chatsworth Friends Membership Assistant over our busy Christmas period.You will be integral to engaging with our visitors in the house. Encouraging our visitors to upgrade their ticket to Chatsworth Friends membership. This will involve proactively selling membership and providing information about the Chatsworth Friends scheme, member options, benefits and price.You will also provide face to face support for Chatsworth Friends, helping them make online bookings and use the self-service members’ portal, along with resolving any queries with the support of the wider membership team.We have the following work patterns available:1: 3 days per week, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday approx. 7.5hrs per day2: 2 days per week, Tuesday and Sunday, approx. 15 hours per week3: 2 days per week, Monday and Friday, approx. 15 hours per weekPlease ensure you state clearly in your application which work pattern you are interested in.This is a fixed-term role which will end week ending 4 January 2026. Rate of pay is £12.21ph for 18yrs+ Please note the house will be closed on the following days 24-26 December and 1 January, so you will not be required to work on these dates.About youYou must be warm and outgoing, happy to approach people to talk about Friends membership and supporting the Chatsworth House Trust. Previous sales experience, ideally in a direct sales role would be an advantage.
