Senior Project Estimator
Hybrid (2 days from home) | £40k + annual bonus | Monday - Friday | Permanent IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting a Senior Estimator to support Project Managers and the Sales Team, ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate pricing. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced estimator to work in a hybrid role with two days from home and strong career development prospects.
Key Duties- Act as the main point of contact for Project Managers, Sales and Site teams regarding pricing and estimating.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure quotations and pricing meet agreed deadlines.
- Provide quotations and final accounts for enquiries from Sales, Project and Site Managers.
- Call off equipment from drawings and create Bills of Materials from Excel spreadsheets.
- Discuss quotations with clients and QS, providing feedback and additional information where required.
- Maintain and update customer schedules of rates and ensure information is stored accurately.
- Prepare final accounts ensuring timely and correct issue.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best prices within budget.
- Comply with Health & Safety requirements and internal procedures.
- 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) or O/A Levels including English and Maths.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in shopfitting or a similar environment.
- Previous experience in estimating, sales support or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft packages (minimum 2 years).
- Ability to read and interpret working drawings.
- Strong understanding of costing and pricing processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- £40k annual salary plus bonus scheme.
