Summary

About the role

Housekeeping Assistants are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

This includes cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, common areas, clinical spaces, and office areas, as well as managing waste disposal and linen services, all while adhering to strict infection control protocols.

Housekeeping assistants help to create a warm and homely environment that enables the organisation to meet everyone’s needs. Keeping the buildings clean and safe is a crucial task, which is why the role is so important. The variety of tasks carried out ensures that everyone can enjoy a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment, directly impacting the patients, their visitors and all the staff working to support them.

Essential Criteria

  • Preferred experience but full necessary training will be given
  • Caring nature
  • Knowledge of Cleaning and disinfecting, infection control
  • Physically fit
  • Able to work as team and on own
