Summary
Medical Receptionist required on a temporary basis for a busy medical centre.
The ideal person will have experience of working previously within a surgery / practise and be a strong communicator. The rate is £12.29 per hour and offers weekly pay. The role is based in a fast-paced GP surgery and is to start immediately. The right candidate will have used a system called EMIS/Docman/Accurx Triage ideally in previous medical roles.
What will you be doing as a Medical Receptionist?
- Answering inbound calls from patients, booking appointments via EMIS
- Registering new patients and completing the necessary administrative tasks
- Action requests for information to be sent/retrieved for Doctors/Nurses/Health care professionals and process prescriptions in line with policy
- Ensure premises are kept clean and tidy in between visits from the cleaning staff
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Previous medical reception experience and knowledge of EMIS system is essential
- Previous experience and knowledge of Docman
- Previous Accurx Triage trained
- Must have worked in a busy medical practice as a receptionist
- Must have a valid DBS ideally on the update service
- Able to prioritise workload and multitask as this is a fast-paced role
- Be able to support your team, and work with a can-attitude

- 25 hours per week
- 2 Months cover 25 hours - working pattern. Monday 1.30pm - 6.30pm Tuesday 8am - 1pm Wednesday 8am - 1pm, Thursday 1.30pm - 6.30pm - Friday 1.30pm - 6.30pm
