ABOUT THE ROLE

As Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the resident's physical, cognitive, and social well-being.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a safe living and working environment and contributing to the positive and professional image of the home

• Reporting any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.

• Building strong relationships with residents while understanding their interests.

• Organising and leading daily activities and events for residents, encouraging participation and adapting activities to meet individual needs.

• Driving the Loxley Park minibus for trips and outings (a full UK driving licence is required, and you must be over 25).

• Be confident, outgoing, and a natural entertainer
• Have excellent communication skills and a warm personality
• Be comfortable leading activities and performing in front of a group
• Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to drive a minibus. Need to be over 25
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential – it’s your attitude, creativity, and ability to connect with people that matter most!
