Summary
We are looking for a reliable and committed Cleaner to join our school’s cleaning team with the Facilities and Estates Team. In this vital role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors by ensuring designated areas of the school are kept to a high standard. Key Responsibilities:
Your daily duties will include;
• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping across various areas of the school including classrooms, offices, toilets, corridors, and training rooms
• Occasional specialist cleaning in specific areas at certain times of the year
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
We offer internal and external training where appropriate, and actively encourage ongoing professional development. Working hours may be flexible for the right candidate.
About You:
The ideal candidate will;
• Have previous experience in cleaning and a proven ability to maintain high standards
• Take pride in creating a clean and orderly environment
• Be physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties
• Be friendly, approachable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and follow health and safety guidelines
