The Role:
Work across Year 1 and Year 2 delivering short, targeted interventions in phonics, early writing and number. Provide 1:1 catch-up, guide small groups, prepare simple resources, and keep brief impact notes so next steps are clear. Reinforce routines, promote positive behaviour, and help pupils build confidence and independence.

The Candidate:
You’re a graduate who communicates clearly, follows guidance well, and brings a calm, organised approach. You enjoy working with young children and want to develop practical classroom skills ahead of initial teacher training.

Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Strong interest in KS1 and pupil progress.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
