Pay Rate: £15.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm

  
  

• Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm

  Job Overview

  An experienced Fabricator is required to join a busy metalwork team in Bromsgrove, focusing primarily on balustrades, staircases, and architectural metalwork. The role involves high-quality TIG welding with a small amount of MIG welding, so strong welding skills are essential.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate balustrades, staircases, handrails, and bespoke metalwork.

    
    

  • Perform 90% TIG welding and 10% MIG welding to a high standard.

    
    

  • Work with mild steel and stainless steel.

    
    

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD designs.

    
    

  • Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely.

    
    

  • Assist with site fitting/installation when required.

    
    

  • Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.

    
    Requirements

    • Proven experience in balustrade and staircase fabrication.

      
      

    • Advanced TIG welding skills (essential) and basic MIG welding skills.

      
      

    • Ability to read and work from technical drawings accurately.

      
      

    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

      
      

    • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

      
      

    • Full UK driving licence (preferred).
