The Job’s Mission:
The retail assistant manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in keeping track of inventory, preparing sales reports, and monitoring sales staff to ensure that customers receive a high quality of service. To be successful as a retail assistant manager, you must be able to multitask.
Key Activities:
- Welcome and greet customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain a fully stocked store.
- Deal with customers queries
- Recommend and display items that match customer needs.
- Manage point-of-sale processes.
- Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments
- Keep up to date with product information.
- Accurately describe product features and benefits
- Follow all companies’ policies and procedures.
- Supporting the Store manager in reporting required by the business
