Summary
Rapier Employment are on the lookout for a Class 1 Driver for our well-known client in Witney. Potential for temp to perm. Assessment and induction available.
** Must have at least 12 months of Class 1 driving experience, along with no more than 9 points on your licence. **
Job role: Class 1 driver
Pay rate: £17.00 per hour basic - £24.00 per hour overtime after 50 hours
Shift start: Start times typically 04:00 - 05:00
Days: Monday to Friday
This is a trunking position for the first 8-12 weeks which will then move to a tramping role. Possibility for tramping to start straight away.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, record information internally and report any defects
- Ensuring the load is fully strapped down ready to be delivered
- Delivering the product to customer sites ensuring delivery instructions are followed
- Hauling palletised flat-packed goods to various locations across the UK
Requirements:
- Full UK licence (Cat C+E)
- CPC Card
- Digi Card
- 12 months Class 1 experience
- No more than 9 points on your licence
- Tramping Monday to Friday
