We are seeking a candidate to provide a mix of technical support alongside helping deliver IT projects that strengthen GBUK Group’s cybersecurity posture, transform business systems and enhance the entire IT estate. This is a key part of the IT Team and is a hands on role that involves investigating and diagnosing technical issues related to hardware, software and network systems whilst also getting involved in exciting projects to advance business capabilities.
Duties will include:
• Project support – coordinating project activities and supporting the IT Manager and wider team to ensure projects progressed, risks managed, and issues resolved to ensure successful delivery.
• Technical support - investigation and diagnosis of issues, in a 2nd/3rd line capacity.
• IT Documentation - Creation and management of IT documentation, processes, project plans and timelines.
• Stakeholder engagement - Liaise with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to gather requirements, set expectations, and manage deliverables.
• Cyber security - Working in a secure manner, aligning with current IT governance and regulatory standards.
• IT Champion – advocating for best practice in all areas, championing cyber security and identifying areas where technology can increase impact and ease burden.
• Ensure that all IT solutions and integrations uphold the GBUK Group’s values and commitment to patient care and service excellence.
Essential Requirements
• Experience in an IT support or technical role.
• Experience managing / supporting IT projects.
• Understanding of project management methodologies.
• Working to security frameworks, such as Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001.
Desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Mergers and acquisitions integration experience.
• Experience working in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated environments.
