Summary
In this role you will oversee daily operations, ensure Health and Safety standards are followed, manage staff on shift, and enhance the overall member/customer experience of the Leisure Centre.
37 hours per week
WK 1 – Monday 9:00-14:00, Tuesday 05:30-13:30, Wednesday 05:30-13:30 Thursday 10:00 – 18:00, Friday 13:30-21:30
WK 2– Monday 9:00-18:00, Tuesday 05:30-13:30, Wednesday 13:30-22:30 Thursday 10:00 – 18:00, Friday 13:30-21:30
WK 3 – Tuesday 05:30-13:30, Wednesday 13:30 – 22:30 Thursday 18:00- 18:30 (Staff Training), Friday 05:30-13:30 Saturday 06:30-12:30-18:30, Sunday 13:30-20::30
WK 4 –Tuesday 05:30-13:30, Wednesday 09:00-17:00, Friday 05:30-13:30, Saturday 12:30-18:30, Sunday 07:30-13:30

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety and exceptional customer service throughout the facility.
• Promote the Leisure Centre’s activities and facilities to both new and existing customers and staff.
• Support the Centre Manager and colleagues in maintaining safe operations of the building.
• Handle administrative duties relating to customer service, including scheduling, staff training, and managing customer feedback.
• Flexibility on shift if support is required elsewhere in the building
Requirements:
• Responsible individual with a passion for working in leisure, health, and well-being.
• Prior experience working in a leisure environment (not essential)
• Managing a building/team on shift
• Strong commitment to safety and the well-being of others.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is required.
• First Aid at Work certification required
• Swim Teaching Qualification (not required but desirable)
Candidates without an NPLQ will have the opportunity to undergo full training after a successful swim test and interview. First Aid at Work can be attained with Abbeycroft.
