Summary

Job Description

Nestrans is the Regional Transport Partnership for North East Scotland, covering the local authority areas of Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils. We take a strategic approach to transport planning and delivery across the region, influencing national and local policy in the areas of land use planning, economic development, public health and community planning.

We are advertising for the role of Transport Strategy Manager, reporting to the Partnership Director, and managing the wider Executive Team, leading on strategy development and delivery. This is an exciting time, with proposals for sustainable transport projects such as Aberdeen Rapid Transit, supporting the region’s Energy Transition, and our lead role managing the region’s People and Place behaviour change programme, which is funded nationally.

Informal discussions can be held with Paul Finch, Partnership Director arranged via pfinch@nestrans.org.uk

It is procedure that applicants for vacancies of this nature require to participate in an online assessment centre as well as interview.
