Summary

Job Description

Based at Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week on a fixed term basis for 2 years.

The Modern Apprentice Scheme is focused to target high youth unemployment in the Dundee Area. Funding for training is only available for candidates aged 16 to 19 or disabled/care experienced applicants under the age of 30.

Requirements

You will have 3 National 5’s including English and Maths/Application of Maths or Relevant Foundation Apprenticeship or equivalent.

Responsibilities

You will undertake the administration of financial accounting and audit systems in respect of rents revenue income. You will provide a central check and advice point for District Teams in relation to revenue income, to support tenants to pay rent, ensuring excellent customer services.

The Individual

You will have basic knowledge / understanding of general office administration along with proven Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Skills e.g. use of a laptop, Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).

Good written and verbal communication, good organisational skills, the ability to follow instructions and ask for clarity where required, the ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving, to prioritise workload and manage time effectively and the ability to work well as part of a team is essential.

You will have genuine interest in business and administrative functions in a financial environment. You will be committed and have the ability to achieve the full Modern Apprenticeship and to achieving SVQ3 in Business & Administration (SCQF Level 6).

A satisfactory Level 1 - Basic Disclosure Scotland check is required.
