I would like to thank you for your interest in this very exciting role as Permanent Catering Manager at Ysgol Cwm Brombil, an all-through school that serves the community of Margam and the Upper Afan Valley. This is an exciting role for a passionate individual who is passionate about food and ready to lead both a vibrant school catering service and community café. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Manager to oversee both our school and community services to ensure pupils, staff and public enjoy nutritious, high-quality meals. You will be based at both our on-site school canteen and community café building and manage a small team, plan menus, maintain food safety standards, and help create a welcoming dining experience. Purpose of Role: To lead and manage the school’s catering service and community cafe, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of pupils and staff. The role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, staff supervision, compliance with health and safety standards, and budget management. You will be trained as Food & Hygiene Level 3 or if not be prepared to attend training.The post is for 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year on Grade 6, SP 17 £26,802.08 - SP 22 £29,479.
