Salary and Conditions of Service: In accordance with the National Joint Council for Local Government Employees (Scale G02 SCP 5 to 8)
Full-time equivalent salary for this post: £25,583 – £26,824 Salary will be pro rata for term-time working
Employment Start Date: 1st December 2025
The Governors of our Happy Valuing Caring School would like to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant who will be a welcoming first point of contact for our school and provide vital support to staff, pupils, and families. We are looking for someone who shares our values, takes pride in their work, and brings warmth, positivity, and care to the role.
The successful candidate should:
● Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
● Contribute to the safeguarding culture of the school.
● Work well as part of a supportive team.
● Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
● Show a commitment to maintaining high standards in all administrative work.
● Be confident in dealing with staff, pupils, parents, and external agencies in a professional and friendly manner.
● Be proactive in supporting school systems, processes, and events as needed.
