Summary
Recruitment Apprenticeship – Luton
Newstaff Employment is currently hiring an Apprentice Recruitment Consultant to join our busy team based in Luton. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in recruitment, gain valuable hands-on experience, and earn while you learn in a supportive environment.
Location: Luton
Salary: £15,704 (increasing upon successful completion of apprenticeship) + uncapped commission from day one + monthly incentives
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Job Type: Apprenticeship – 12 months, Level 3 Advanced (A-level equivalent)
Key Responsibilities
Work alongside Senior Recruitment Consultants, supporting daily tasks
Assist with client and account management
Attend client visits (driving or learning to drive is desirable)
Pre-screen and arrange interviews
Interview new applicants
Manage compliance checks and documentation
Post new vacancies on job boards
Handle daily refills and rebooks
Carry out administration duties, answering phones, and data entry
Update and manage the CRM system
Essential Skills & Experience
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above)
Strong communication and customer care skills
IT proficiency with attention to detail
Organised, proactive, and able to multitask
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Professional presentation and interpersonal skills
Training & Development
Recruitment Consultant Level 3 Apprenticeship (A-level equivalent)
Minimum 6 hours of coursework per week
Learn on the job with in-house training
Gain valuable industry-recognised qualifications
