Summary

Social Worker Grade 9 Review and Support Team

About us
The aim of the team is to provide support to those who need it most whilst enabling people to remain as independent as possible. The Review and Support Team undertake annual statutory reviews, unplanned reviews and work in partnership with the Adult Social Work Teams in Hull to enable people by promoting a person centred and solution focused approach.
The Senior Social worker role involves supporting the Review and Support Officers with their daily practice including endorsements of services, leading on duty/projects, undertaking supervisions and authorisations. You would also participate in team meetings and peer supervisions to enhance the quality of service being delivered and to ensure everyone feels supported within their role. In addition, the role will include supporting the Operations Manager and Practice Lead in the day to day running of the team
As a valued member of the team, you will have access to regular supervision, peer support groups and a broad range of training to aide development. You will also have the opportunity to work with our partners across Social Care, Health, Housing and Voluntary Services.
The post is 37 hours per week full time and there are opportunities for flexible working arrangements that meet business.
About you
You will be an experienced social worker registered with Social Work England and be able to demonstrate understanding and application of the Social Care legislative framework including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
You will also have experience of supervising and developing staff and sound decision making skills, evidencing expert and effective social work practice in complex situations.
