The Role – Graduate SEN Mentor

• Full-time, long-term role starting immediately
• Provide 1:1 and small-group mentoring for pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and additional needs
• Support students with social and emotional development, confidence-building, and behaviour regulation
• Encourage independence and resilience, both in and out of the classroom
• Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement personalised support plans
• Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive

Person Specification

• Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related subject (essential)
• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a proactive and supportive approach
• A genuine passion for SEN education and helping vulnerable learners succeed
