Summary


We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Project Manager to join the MSK clinical research delivery team at the Botnar Research Centre, Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS). The main purpose of this role is to provide leadership and support to the MSK clinical research delivery team to ensure that National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) portfolio studies, including commercial as well as non-commercial studies are delivered to time and target.

The postholder, in collaboration with the MSK RRDN lead, will provide strategic direction and leadership to the MSK Clinical Research Delivery Team, ensuring high performance, resource coordination, and effective task allocation across internal and external contributors. They will measure and monitor project progress, performance and impact outcomes using appropriate methodology, systems, tools and techniques championing best practice in the delivery of projects. They will also represent participants and clinical research delivery staff in the development and review of research protocols, ensuring the protocols are deliverable, as appropriate.
The postholder will hold a degree or equivalent in Nursing or related health subject. Current registration as a n NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC registered Allied Health Professional, along with established knowledge of HRA approval processes / NHS Research Governance and policies, is essential. Informed Consent Training and interventional clinical trials experience are desirable.
